Changes related to the Terms & Conditions
- Ezcards Dot Biz may change, modify, add or remove portions of this Terms & Conditions at any time, and any changes will become effective immediately upon being posted unless stated otherwise. This Terms & Conditions was last revised on April, 2010.
Turnaround time for printing

By placing an order with Ezcards Dot Biz, you agree to the following terms:
- Turnaround time for all our printing order starts once the proof has been approved by you along with the receipt of full payment at our bank account. If your job is approved by 11:00 am, turnaround time begins that same working day. For example, a job with 4 working days that you approve by 11:00 am Monday will be shipped out to you on Wednesday evening to arrive at your location on Thursday. Please note: that if we are unable to print your files because of a problem with the broadband service, we would have to assign the printing to the next day. For any urgent orders, we strongly recommend customers to allow more time for printing and delivery. Since the production depends on many variable factors including human error.
- Our working days is based on delivery to all major cities and most major towns in Peninsular Malaysia. The courier service business days are from Monday to Saturdays. Ezcards Dot Biz working days are from Mondays to Fridays. Saturdays are working days for us, but it is not included when calculating working days for your order, Saturdays are only used to clear urgent work & to do our filing, but we monitor calls and emails. Our turnaround for working days does not include Saturdays & Sundays.

Our turnaround is guaranteed, but we assume no responsibility for delays caused by courier or any damages resulting from the failure to receive a job on time. Your order may arrive late due to unforeseen delays due to breakdown of equipment, interrupted broadband service, illness, accidents, quality control rejects etc.,

Workmanship Guarantee
- We guarantee all our printing orders to be free of defects in workmanship. If any order does not match the generally accepted trade standards, we will reprint the order, subject to the terms in returns & reject orders.
- In our online service, we have an obligation to provide our customers with reliable and economical printing service. Confidence in using our service is absolutely important to us, we have embarked on a system and processes that we use in our business.
- Our mentor has both provided educational as well as physically done some high profile jobs for the government related to printing and security graphics. One example being the MyKad.
- We do know that mistakes happen and to avoid them, we have a setup some ground rules. To understand these rules we recommend that you read our terms and conditions. This should enable you to avoid costly errors in your printing orders.
- We also provide you with a guideline to follow. Printing is very specialised and no two orders are the same. Your printed items cannot be sold to someone else and vice versa.
- So to cancel an order half way or to keep the order on hold for no reason or not being committed on your order can be difficult for us.
- Our service is priced reasonably and our turnaround time is also fast. We do not visit you at your office or encourage you to visit us. It is purely a waste of time and costly. We know what we can do for you in terms of quality and finishing.
Quotations
- Prices are not posted on this website, to avoid price under cutting.
- Written quotations are good for 90 days, but non-availability or increases in material prices and discontinuations of products could happen anytime.
- All quotations that has not been accepted within 90 days may be changed and a new quote has to be requested.
- We do not discriminate on our pricing between locals and foreigners living in Malaysia.
Payment Terms
- All orders must be prepaid before printing can be done.
- If you would like to pay by cheque, your order will not be printed until the cheque has cleared. This may cause a significant delay in your order.
- Under no circumstances will Ezcards Dot Biz provide COD terms on any order.
- Credit terms may be applied for and are reviewed on a case by case basis.

- We accept credit cards through NetBuilder. We also accepts cheques and bank transfer (please allow 3 working days for interbank transfers and cheques) Should be available in May 2010
Our Working Days
- Our delivery is based working days
- Our Working Days are Monday to Friday only
- All confirmed orders with payment done by 11:00AM on any working day would be included in the number of working days for your order to be completed.
- Orders confirmed with payment after 11:00AM on any working day will not be included in the number of working days for your order to be completed.
- Please note that confirmation of proof only or payment only does not mean your order is confirmed for printing.
- For your order to be processed for printing, you will have to confirm the PDF Proof file that we sent to you by email is confirmed correct and you have to make payment by online transfer or direct bank-in to our account.
- If payment is done by cheque, we would wait for the cheque to clear before the order can be processed for printing.
Privacy Policy
- Your privacy is very important to us.
- Your information will only be used to complete your order.
- Under no circumstances will your information be sold or used for any other purpose. Rarely, Ezcards Dot Biz may send out special notices regarding new features and products available on this site.
- At your discretion, you may also receive special promotional emails which may include discounts and other special offers from Ezcards Dot Biz.
Registration
- To submit orders you can register with our Site or just send us an email.
- Registration is not compulsory.
- There are no yearly fees for registration
- You do not have to pay to register in our site. In doing so, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age and the information contained therein is truthful and accurate.
- Your willful provision of inaccurate or unreliable information shall constitute a material breach of this Agreement and be a basis for termination.
- During the registration process, you will specify your email address and a password (your "Login Credentials"). You are solely responsible in all respects for all use of and for protecting the confidentiality of your Login Credentials.
- You agree to notify Ezcards Dot Bizimmediately of any unauthorised use of your Login Credentials and any other suspected breach of security regarding the Site. You are responsible for changing your password if you believe your password has been stolen or might otherwise be misused.
- Ezcards Dot Bizhas no duty or obligation to verify the identity of a customer and may assume, without independent investigation, that any person who logs on to this Site through your password does so with your consent and approval.
Design Specifications
- We have our own specifications for the preparation of artwork for both creative work done by us, as well as supplied by the customer.
- We would normally recommend that we provide the graphic design and layout for you.
- All designs and layouts submitted must meet the guidelines and specifications set by Ezcards Dot Biz.
- Designs or layouts which do not meet these standards will be rejected or will be corrected at Ezcards Dot Biz’s discretion. Time spent for correcting improper artwork will be billed at our current rates.
- There are guidelines for the layout, especially with regards to important text location from the edge of the material as well as the for bleed on your artwork.
- All these design and layout specifications is best done by a qualified graphic designer specialised in the print industry.
Artwork, Layout and Design Policies

All grammar and spelling are customer’s responsibility to check and proof, Ezcards Dot Biz is not liable for any mistake associated once the artwork has been approved
- Even though customers pay for the graphic design, photography and/or layout, copyright belongs to Ezcards Dot Biz. For any reproduction without Ezcards Dot Biz’s authorisation, Ezcards Dot Biz reserves the right of legal action
- Customers can alternatively purchase the copyright from Ezcards Dot Biz at extra cost on top of the design fee for release of artworks.Ezcards Dot Bizwill only provide design files at 72 DPI (low resolution).
- If you want higher resolution files then you have to purchase them.
Customer Submitted Artwork or Graphics
- All artwork or designs and images must be provided in CMYK format. Ezcards Dot Biz is not responsible for any color shift in converted photographs (RGB images) with black, near black, or grey tones and from RGB to CMYK or PMS Pantone colors to CMYK color modes. Color shifts from a perceived black or grey must be addressed prior to file submission. Proofs do not guarantee black, near black or grey final output.
- All artwork, designs and images must be provided in a minimum of 300 DPI and CMYK color mode if you are providing artwork to us. Ezcards Dot Biz is not responsible for images printed as fuzzy, distorted or pixilated due to customer provided artwork.
- Flatten all vector transparency objects and rasterise all image transparency objects
- Provide a 3mm bleed and crop marks for any job that requires bleed cut offs
- All important text must be 5mm inside crop marks to prevent being cropped off during trimming
- A RM50 pre-press setup fee applies for any non-print ready artwork
- Ezcards Dot Biz is not liable to re-print jobs due to improper artwork setup
Graphic File Format
- Images must always be in Adobe Photoshop format. Only CYMK Images in colour and Gray Scale Images in black & white. Images must all be in 300dpi.
- RGB format for colours and black & white is not accepted.
- Layout should be done in Adobe Illustrator or InDesign Format.
- We also accept CorelDraw files, but it best that you convert it to Adobe Illustrator.
- Fonts must be supplied for us to make adjustment where possible or can be outlined if you have done your artwork or layout according to our specifications.
Electronic Manuscripts/Images
- It is the client's responsibility to maintain a copy of the original computer files, artwork and transparencies.
- Ezcards Dot Biz is not responsible for accidental loss or damage to media supplied by the client or for errors on supplied artwork furnished by the client.
- Until Ezcards Dot Biz can evaluate digital input, no claims or promises are made about our ability to work with jobs submitted in digital format, and no liability is assumed for problems that may arise.
- Any additional translating, editing, or programming needed to utilise client-supplied files will be charged at our current rates.
- Ezcards Dot Biz does not archive your work for longer than it takes to produce the final product.
- We keep a database of all our customer’s work and there is no guarantee that files cannot be corrupted.
Color Matching & Screen Proofing
- Screen proofs accepted by the client will predict the design layout, text correctness, and image fraction and placement but they do not provide the best idea for the color matching and ink density.
- Ezcards Dot Biz is not responsible for color matching or ink density on screen proofs permitted by the client.
- We will try our best to match the gradient density of each color in a duo-tone.
- Ezcards Dot Biz is not responsible for the final look of a duo-tone unless the customer orders a color match proof for that order/job.
- Ezcards Dot Biz is also not responsible for any change in the appearance of colors due to lamination on that product.
- If corporate colour matching is required, please provide the PMS (pantone colour) when submitting your job.
- Printed colour may vary from different printing process and paper stocks, and from time to time.
- Ezcards Dot Biz will not be liable for re-print jobs due to colour differences without going through the colour matching process.
- A RM150 charge applies for colour matching and print proofing on request. Subject to clarification before you order.
Prepress Proofs
- When requested by the customer, Ezcards Dot Biz will submit color proofs for the customer's review and approval.
- Proofs must be returned, at the customer’s expense, to Ezcards Dot Biz marked "O.K ." or "Revised Proof Required" and signed by the customer. Until the proof is returned, no additional work will be performed.
- Ezcards Dot Biz will not be responsible for undetected production errors if:
a. Proofs are waived by the client
b. The work is printed per the client's written OK
c. Requests for changes are communicated verbally
d. All requests for changes of any kind must be made in writing to avoid mistakes.
e. Turnaround estimates begin after the proof is approved and arrives at Ezcards Dot Biz with the customer’s signature.
Color Proofing
- Because of differences in equipment, paper, inks, and other conditions between color proofing and production pressroom operations, a "pleasing color" variation between color proofs and the completed job [as determined by generally accepted trade technical methods] is to be expected.
- When such a variation occurs, it will be considered acceptable performance.
Customer Supplied Proofs
- Inkjet and laser prints are known to look substantially different than offset printing.
- We offer quick turnaround and low prices by printing to a "pleasing color" standard, using standard ink densities.
- There is no guarantee that your finished piece will match your printed sample.
- This is due to the varying results from different output devices including inkjet printers, continuous tone proofing devices, and film-based proofs.
Ordering Policies
- It is adviced that you are very sure of your commitment on the order before you request us to prepare any artwork.
- Once the order for artwork is given, it cannot be cancelled because work starts from the time the instruction for artwork is given.
- The time required for artwork is subject to the type of job.
- We would provide you with an estimated turnaround time, which starts from less than 24 hours for simple graphic work to 48 hours for others.
- We would provide you with the turnaround time at the time be give you the quotation.
- Ezcards Dot Biz reserves the right to use its sole discretion in refusing to print anything it deems improper or known to be illegal.
- Ezcards Dot Biz is not liable for any damages resulting from unwitting violation of copyright laws or illegal use of trade names or slogans.
- The client guarantees the legal title of all matter submitted to Ezcards Dot Biz for printing and/or publication.
- Please also note that if the payment is not received from the current cancelled order, the accumulated billing would be added to your next order whether direct or indirect.
Electronic PDF Proofs
- In order to provide an avenue for faster turnarounds, Ezcards Dot Biz will supply an electronic PDF proof to the customer.
- PDF proofs are optimised for fast web downloads, and as a result, may appear "pixelised".
- It should be noted that the final printed order will not appear in this manner. Furthermore, due to the variation in monitor colors and adjustments, PDF proofs may not provide an accurate color representation of the final printed work.
- It is recommended that a hard copy proof be purchased for all color critical work.
Confirmation of Orders
- Confirmation of PDF Proof, with an email confirmation
- For reorders, just email your requirements from your previously approved order
- All orders whether new or reorders should be confirmed with payment.
- Orders would be delivered to the address used in your printed items.
- If delivery address is different please indicate.
Accuracy of Specifications
- Quotations are based on the accuracy of the specifications provided.
- Ezcards Dot Biz can requote a job at the time of submission if the artwork does not conform to the information on which the original quotation was based.
- Orders placed with Ezcards Dot Biz are to the client's knowledge correct, and there are no conditions or agreements relating to the order which are not written or accompanying said order.
Order Approval
- Please review your order prior to approving.
- Ezcards Dot Biz will no longer accept changes to orders that have been confirmed. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
- Customers are fully responsible for final proof and layout approval prior to the printing process.
- Ezcards Dot Biz is NOT LIABLE for errors in a final product caused by any of the following reasons: Misspelling, Graphics, Bleeds, Grammar, Damage Fonts, Punctuation, Wrong cuts, Incorrect or Missing Folds, Die Lines, Crop Marks, Transparency, Overprint, Finished Product Size.
- We DO NOT make any changes once the customer confirms the PDF Proof File.
Overruns/Underruns
- Ezcards Dot Biz will normally deliver the exact quantity of goods ordered plus a small additional amount.
- There is no extra charge for the additional amounts. In the event of a significant shortage, Ezcards Dot Biz may bill for the actual quantity delivered.
- The generally accepted trade practice is plus or minus 5%. As for the business stationery that is numbered, there would be no extras provided.
Alterations and Corrections
- Client alterations must be specified in writing by email and must include all corrections or changes from the original specifications.
- Such work will be charged at our current rates, subject to only 2 alterations or corrections.
Cancellation of orders
- Any compensation given to the customer after a cancellation of will be refunded in a timely manner.
- Please allow for 14 days from the time of written cancellation.
- You can cancel the order via email or phone. Ezcards Dot Biz will inform you about the cancellation charges, according to the stage of the order. Here are some major stages in a printing process.
After quotation has been provide and accepted
a. No Charges would be incurred
Online placement of orders are verified with an e-mail confirmation.
b. Once the order for artwork has been placed successfully, during artwork stage
– 6 hours after placing your order for artwork
– In this case a minimum fee of RM20 has to be incurred by the customer for the cancellation.
c. After the first artwork and/or layout has been sent to you in PDF format.
Subject to the request made by email or in our online order questionnaire if your requirements has be fulfilled.
No Refunds are issued for the Logo, and Graphic design services. You would have to pay for the artwork in full.
d. After the first request for amendments. You would have to pay for the artwork in full.
e. After the second request for amendments. You would have to pay for the artwork in full.
f. After the third request for amendments. A new quotation for artwork would be sent to you.
We would also follow up with an online bill for you to pay before the order can be further processed.
Most orders, from our experience takes no more than 2 alterations before it goes for printing.
Sent to printing press for printing.
g. If the order has been confirmed, the customer can cancel the order,
but has to pay a penalty of 50% on the printing charges,
subject to the order being cancelled by phone on the day of the confirmation for printing.
h. The day after confirmation of artwork for printing – no refunds, the order would be delivered.
i. Absolutely no refunds will be issued once an order has been Plated or any process thereafter,
including but not limited to Printing, Coating, and / or Finishing.
Finished products are shipped to the customer.
j. Once your order is shipped we will not be able to cancel the order.
Orders that are kept on hold for more than 30 days are considered cancelled and are not eligible for any refunds. If there are any balance owing, it would be added to your next order and we would require payment in full before the artwork can begin.
Returns or Rejected Orders
- Customer’s who find a problem with their order, must notify Ezcards Dot Biz within 48 hours of receipt of their order (please note that receipt of order timing is taken from the Airway Bill receipt). If these defects in the printing is not highlighted within the allotted time, your claim will not be entertained. All these is subject to the clearance of our own quality control, which would determine the cause of the error.
- In order to receive a replacement, the customer must provide us with a scanned image of the defect or error by email first and send one or a few (not all) of the printed items by mail to our registered address within 7 days (at their own expense).
- If the error or defect can be identified by the scanned image you sent to us, we would prepare a reprint at our cost and dispatch it under normal order.
- If we cannot identify the error on the scanned image, we would wait for the printed item from you. Ezcards Dot Biz will authorise its Quality Assurance representative to contact you within 24-48 hours of your initial query to clarify the printing problem. If the error is due to graphic or a printing error we would replace the order for you. Please also note that graphic errors due to your approval, spelling or a numeral error, would not be considered. All orders can only proceed subject to your approval.
- Ezcards Dot Biz does not provide re-funds or credit notes at anytime.
- If we are providing a reprint for those orders that are returned for any reason, all charges related to accelerate the delivery would be charge to the customer at rush order rates.
- Ezcards Dot Biz will not be liable for re-print jobs due to colour differences without going through the colour matching process.
Order Shipping and Delivery
- Ezcards Dot Biz will always act to make sure that any production difficulties does not delay delivery schedules.
- In no case shall Ezcards Dot Biz be liable for any consequential or damages resulting from any delay in shipment or delivery.
- All Ezcards Dot Biz customers agree not to hold Ezcards Dot Biz liable for delays in shipments caused by weather conditions, shipping company delays or any other circumstances beyond Ezcards Dot Biz's direct control.
- Ezcards Dot Biz shipment and delivery dates are calculated based the confirmation of orders. All state holidays may also reflect on deliveries. There would be no deliveries to the affected state.
- Our printing press is located in the state of Kedah. The press and courier service might not be available on the state holidays for Kedah.
- Ezcards Dot Biz will always act to make sure that delivery schedules are met. However, unexpected equipment failure, malfunction and or technical problems like broadband and electrical failure may delay the printing process. In case of delay caused by technical difficulty. However, technical difficulty will not be the grounds for order cancellation.
- Ezcards Dot Biz can only use its own shipping account and will not use customer provided account numbers for any couriers. Orders must be shipped at whole quantities and may not be split up. Please note that we don't ship to P.O. Boxes.
- Ezcards Dot Biz uses courier services and there is no guarantee in arrival time, but delivery dates are assured, Ezcards Dot Biz is not liable for any loss caused by delays due to the courier. For any urgent jobs, we strongly recommend customers allow more time for printing and delivery
- Charges for delivery of materials and supplies from the client or the client's supplier to Ezcards Dot Biz are not included in quotations unless specified. Ezcards Dot Biz is not responsible for delays and/or damage incurred during shipping. Title for finished work passes to the customer upon delivery to the carrier at shipping point; or upon mailing of invoices for the finished work or its segments, whichever comes first.
Customer Supplied Incorrect Address
- If the order is not delivered due to the wrong shipping address, Ezcards Dot Biz will charge additional shipping charges for resending.
Governing Law
- Ezcards Dot Biz is based in Kajang, Selangor and all transactions take place on Ezcards Dot Biz's servers located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Any legal action or proceeding relating to or arising from your access to or use of this Site shall be instituted in Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan courts and agree that venue in these courts is proper in any such legal action or proceeding.
Liability
- Ezcards Dot Biz liability shall be limited to the stated selling price to the customer of any defective goods, and shall in no event include special, consequential, incidental, indirect or similar damages, including without limitation, lost profits.
- Ezcards Dot Biz warrants that every product manufactured by it meets industry standard for such product and is free of any material defect in workmanship. IT IS EXPRESSLY AGREED THAT THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR USE AND MERCHANTABILITY.
- Ezcards Dot Biz makes no other warranty and no actions or words of Ezcards Dot Biz or its officers, employees or agents shall constitute a warranty.
Indemnification
The customer represents that it has the legal right to produce all printed materials ordered from Ezcards Dot Biz. In the event that a charge, claim or demand, or arbitration, action or proceeding (collectively, a "Claim") is made or commenced against Ezcards Dot Biz based upon, relating to or arising from the alleged wrongful acts of the customers, or alleging that the printing performed or product produced by Ezcards Dot Biz ordered by the customer:
a. infringes any copyright, patent or other proprietary right of any person; or
b. contains matter that is libelous, slanderous, defamatory, scandalous or obscene, the customer shall indemnify and hold
Ezcards Dot Biz harmless from and against any loss, damages, cost and expense arising from or related to the Claim including without limitation;
c. defending Ezcards Dot Biz against any such Claim
d. paying any judgment or award against the customer; and
e. reimbursing Ezcards Dot Biz for any legal fees and expenses it reasonably incurs in responding.
Taxes (subject to implementation of GST)
- All taxes and assessments levied by governmental authority are the responsibility of the customer.
- All amounts due for taxes and assessments will be added to the customer’s invoice.
- No tax exemption will be granted unless the customer’s “Exemption Certificate” (or other official proof of exemption) accompanies the order.
- If, after the customer has paid the invoice, it is determined that more tax is due, then the customer must promptly remit the required taxes to the taxing authority or immediately reimburse the provider for any additional taxes paid.
